Intro
As the lead product designer at Self+, I played a pivotal role in bringing our concept to life. Self+ is an avant-garde platform designed to unite wellness content creators and their followers, aimed at strengthening both mental and physical health and fostering healthy habits. The application is crafted to provide creators with a unique ecosystem for building their own friendly, judgment-free, and safe subscription-based communities. These communities serve as hubs for hosting challenges, sharing valuable knowledge, and engaging actively with the audience.
I took charge of ensuring that every aspect of the application was intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing, from the administrative panel for creators, where they can establish their communities and start selling content, to the messaging functionality. My focus was on creating a user-friendly and visually attractive design that seamlessly brings together wellness creators and their communities in one place.
Challenge is your home
One of the key features of the Self+ application is its unique layout pattern designed to ensure the most comfortable and functional user experience. This pattern is aptly named “Home” because, upon entering a challenge, the user finds themselves in a familiar environment where they have access to all the necessary tools and resources—chats, their social profile, tasks from mentors, histories, and so forth.
Messenger
Communication was a key aspect of the Self+ community, and we implemented industry best practices to create an effective interaction mechanism. Personal and group chats, comments, reactions, and stickers, as well as video chats, provided convenience in communication, fostering active interaction and support among users. Additionally, the presence of a notification system helps chat participants stay connected and not miss important messages.
Library
The “Library” section in Self+ is an essential tool for both creators and participants. In this section, creators can store valuable materials such as articles, videos, podcasts, and guides, and share them with the members of their communities. The Library allows for easy uploading of new materials, editing existing posts, and organizing them through a user-friendly interface. This centralized collection of resources provides users with all the necessary tools to succeed in the wellness field.
Throughout the entire project, I tirelessly worked to ensure that every aspect of the design was of high quality, engaging, and accessible. I constantly thought about our users and their needs, striving to create an application that truly brings together wellness creators and their audience.
Every element of the interface was carefully crafted to provide not only aesthetic appeal but also functionality.
In addition to contributing to the development of the Self+ design system, I was also responsible for creating flowcharts. My goal was to simplify complex user journeys, so I closely collaborated with managers to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the routes. As a result of my work, user journeys became more intuitive and efficient, leading to an overall increase in the number of users.
